Belated

Sorry for the long belated update.

Nothing really to report. The LAD drops took a really negative turn for my body so I had to give those up. 

Because of that, I've stalled at my last weight. Haven't lost, but I haven't gained either, so that's good. 

I figure that the LAD diet costs me $100 a month, and a gym down the street is only $30 a month. I could get a personal trainer AND the membership at the gym for the $100 I was paying for. 

Think I'll be checking that out after payday!

Another -.5

Down another half pound!

Now I'm at an even number again. yay!

This week hasn't been too hard. I found out I'm pretty good with making up healthy delicious recipes. I've been making my own homemade orange chicken for lunch. It is soooo good. Even my husband wants to eat it! Also, peach chicken. Fruits really do go lovely with poultry!

My water intake has gotten a lot easier. I measured out how many cups is in this canteen I have. Turns out there are four. So I just drink 3 of those a day and my water intake goal is reached! 

Well off to another day of losing pounds!

Only down by half a pound today. That's ok though. It is still progress. I stalled the past couple of days. 

I've been trying to sell my motorcycle and everyone who has said they will buy it has become flakes and not shown up. So I changed my schedule all around for nothing. 

But at least I started to lose again, even if it is only half a pound.  I can deal with that!

Down another 2.5 lbs! Not too much to update today, because I just updated yesterday. 

This diet is really working well! I hope it keeps on helping me! I am so proud of myself. 

Hubby mentioned another compliment. He said that my arms look a lot smaller. I'm really loving these things he is saying! 

Of course, it goes both ways. He is trying to bulk up so I tell him anything I notice on him too!

Down another pound and a half! 

LAD says you can lose a pound a day. This is days three and I've only lost 1.5, but 1/5 every few days is fine with me!

It's kind of too early to tell if this is going to work or not. So far, so good. I haven't been very hungry as long as I eat on time. 5 oz of protein five times a day is really nice. Keeps me good and full. 

The only issue I've had is drinking the water. I have to drink half my weight in ounces every day. Which is 90 oz. Which is 11 cups. It doesn't really seem like a lot, but I hardly ever drink any water, so just 11 cups is super challenging! 

Yesterday, I decided to put on a nice shirt and pants just because I could. I walked down the hall, passing Jon and he asks, "Have you lost weight? Your waist looks smaller."

That felt awesome. 

I'm down 9.5 pounds since I started tracking seriously. I'm so ecstatic!

LAD Day 1 P1

Today is my first day on the Liquid Amino Diet. So far it's been ok. I'm not super hungry by any means, so that is good. The drops don't really taste like anything. I'm glad they aren't bitter! 

This diet makes big promises, but I honestly am not really keeping stock in all of the hype. If it works amazingly, then great! If it works slowly but surely, that's great too. I just like having the outline of eating healthier. 

I don't have to give up my tea either! I was so happy to learn that! 

I've been maintaining my 180. I've also been extremely sick for the past week so I haven't been paying much attention to what I was eating. Then when I did eat, my appetite was diminished so I didn't eat a lot. Probably the only good thing about being sick. 

I will definitely update if and when I see anything amazing happen. ;)

Down another 2.5 lbs!

I've been sick the past few days, but I've been making sure that I eat my calories where I need too anyways. The only thing I haven't been able to do is work out. I don't even want to move!

But because of this weight loss, I've reached my first mini-goal weight. Yay!!!

I also found out that if I lose just 1% of Body Mass, then I will not be obese anymore! That's amazing!

I'm starting Liquid Amino Diet on the 1st. Decided to make it an easy day to track.

I'm excited for the rest of this journey!

I woke up and hopped on the scale this morning. It looked as if I hadn't lost anything. I was frustrated. 

Turns out, it was so early and my eyes were blurry so I didn't read the scale right. I took out the camera to double check, and sure enough there was a 1.5 lb difference from last time! YAY!!

Down 5.5 lbs total!! 

Getting there, getting square! Or, thin anyway. haha!

2 Days is just too much!

I took my birthday off because it was my birthday. lol. I figured one day off wouldn't hurt much. I mean, most weight sites tell you to give your body a break to recover. But then the day after my birthday, I got sick. Not sure if it was a hangover (I broke my 2.5 weeks sober that night) or if I was sick. I'm leaning toward the sick though, because I ended up throwing up several times that day.

But today, I got back on track with 30DS. I could definitely feel those two days off though. I felt like I was starting over completely! It was crazy. You wouldn't think two days would do much, but it definitely does! So I decided it's better for me, personally, not to miss a day. I mean, it's 20 minutes. Who can't do that every day?!


On to Day 5/Day 2 tomorrow! 


One thing that frustrates me about My Fitness Pal is that when you enter your starting weight, no matter what happens with your weight, it will always say your starting weight is that number you put in. I didn't have a scale, and I guessed my starting weight. I was off by 8 pounds. So now, when I lose those eight pounds, it doesn't show many of my progress. It still says 0 lbs lost. I hate that. :(

30 DS

So I started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred yesterday. After my workout, I thought "hey, this isn't so bad. She's not so scary."

Then came today.

My legs were killing me. The walk down the starts after waking up was murder. WTH? Ugh.

But I prevailed through day two. And I did everything. I think I missed one crunch because I took a deep breath, but other than that I did it. Oh, and I had to modify the push ups to wall push ups because I can't even do one normal pushup. But I think that's pretty good for a beginner. I'm pretty proud of myself.

After my workout I jumped into the shower. When I got out, I felt all prickly all over and almost threw up. I even hugged the toilet for a few minutes. After resting for 45 minutes, I could finally get up. Guess I pushed myself too hard.

But I did it, and that's all the matters. Day 3 tomorrow...the hardest. We'll see if I get through that!

Down by 4! yay!

I bought some tea. I've always hated tea. But I can choke down some of it. Chamomile is really mild and not too bad. Plus it's caffeine free so it helps me get to sleep at night.

I've been doing quite a bit around the house, which has led to me not working out as much. But super cleaning burns cals so it's just as well. 

I've been eating these little wraps nonstop. They are delicious. I put 2tbsp of cream cheese on a tortilla with a couple of slices of cucumbers and a slice of deli turkey. Tastes great and is only 219 cals! 

I've also been eating REALLY slowly. That way I don't gobble it down really fast then still feel hungry so scrounge for more foods. 

So far so good! 

I'm starting Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred tomorrow [30DS]. We'll see how that does. 

Also probably going to be starting Liquid Amino Diet [LAD] around the 20th. It's 1000 cals a day, and I'm currently doing 1200, so it shouldn't be too hard to make the adjustment. 

I picked out a Halloween costume and a few cute skirts for me to work toward.  I think it's good incentive.

Sweat

I am doing absolutely fabulous on this new diet. I'm proud of myself. I have been sticking pretty close to it. I only went over my 1200 calories once this week! 

I have been playing Just Dance 4 on Kinect to help me get active. It is a lot of fun. But I've done all the songs, so I will definitely need to get some new Kinect games. I really like the dance ones. They are fun and they also really make me laugh. There are some ridiculous moves! Plus, the girls really get into it as well, so it makes it more fun when they are playing along with me. 

I've discovered that I hate sweat. Sweat is the grossest thing ever. I never used to sweat at all! I think a person is supposed to feel some sense of satisfaction when they are drenched with sweat, but all I feel is disgusting and smelly. It trickled! TRICKLED! So gross! *shudder*

I can't give enough props to My Fitness Pal. That site is just so awesome. And the people on there are the kindest, most encouraging people I have ever met! I wish I would have found it a long time ago! 

I'm considering doing the Liquid Amino Diet. We shall see!!!

That's it!

That is it! Time to lose weight! I stepped on a scale yesterday. Whopping 188! Holy sh*t! That's just ridiculous.

So, I joined My Fitness Pal and I am hoping very much that it helps me! So far it's been three days and I'm doing pretty well. I haven't gone over that I know of! I have 1200 calories a day. Even with that, I still get to eat 2 cups of spaghetti with meat sauce for lunch! Yum!

Since it is so cold outside, I am using my Xbox Kinect for working out. I have Just Dance 4 and Kinect Adventures and they are both really fun. I can play them almost endlessly. And when I finish and log it, wham! I have more calories that I can eat!

I am feeling better, I have more energy. It's really great. I cut out alcohol and sodas. I drink tea a lot. Also just tried some Crystal Light. Not too bad!

I'm excited!
